Dear Friend,

Welcome to the very first of many Grow & Abide letters! (Stay til the end for the first two of many FREE downloadable printables!)

As a paid subscriber, you’ll receive two of these a month straight to your inbox, and I can’t wait to see how God uses these letters to honor Him. I pray they are a blessing to you. All glory to God.

Friend, I hope and pray that you are growing and abiding well. We grow well when we abide well, and we abide well when we stay in constant communication in the presence of God through Jesus and the workings of the Holy Spirit that is living inside of us.

That communication shouldn’t feel rushed or forced; it should be something we come to delight in simply because of who we’re communing with. When we sit in the presence of God, it’s as if time stands still. We’re enveloped by the perfect love of a perfect Father, and we leave that quiet place a changed person with a cup overflowing.

Then, because we walk in the light with a cup that overflows, we are more than willing and able to pour lovingly into others. We can do this in a multitude of ways, but I encourage you to ask God today, in your own prayer time, to highlight someone you can lovingly pour into and to clarify what that might look like.

Some ways I have lovingly poured into others in the past or am currently pouring into others now are by acts of service, like preparing a meal for someone I love, interceding in prayer for people in my life, or even writing letters (like these!) to friends I care for deeply (that’s you!) because the Lord cares for you deeply.
