Dear Friend,
I hope and pray you are growing and abiding well! I am very excited to be writing this second Grow & Abide Letter to you today. It truly brings me so much joy.
Remember that we grow well when we abide well, and we abide well when we stay in constant communication in the presence of God through Jesus and the work of the Holy Spirit living within us. I’ll remind you of this each week because I believe it’s so important.
I believe we are always growing in some way and at different speeds depending on the season of life we find ourselves in. This growth reminds me of the collection of plants I care for daily. I have 18 plants, and I adore them so! Plants grow differently depending on the season. In the spring and summer, they grow faster than in the fall or winter. The same goes for us! You may be in a stagnant season with slower growth, or in a season of faster growth. There is nothing better or worse about either season, although I know the faster-growing seasons are usually preferred. Even still, beautiful things happen in every season. We just have to be open and willing to notice the signs.
What type of growing season have you found yourself in lately? What signs have you noticed to support this? Are you content with the season you’re in?

2 Peter 3:18 – “But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. To him be glory both now and for ever. Amen.”
Ephesians 4:15 – “But speaking the truth in love, may grow up into him in all things, which is the head, even Christ.”
Galatians 6:9 - “Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up.”
